Mimi Keene as Cindy Williams

With so many strong contenders in the Best Young Actor category, this year especially, it was a close competition, but Mimi Keene is the deserved winner for her portrayal of Eastenders’ troubled teen Cindy Williams, with special mention for her performance in the episode that she went into labour in Ian Beale’s front room and gave birth to daughter Beth.
