The trial of a Cahir man accused of shooting dead Shane Rossiter is due to resume hearing evidence.
31 year old Maurice “Mossy” Power Dranganbeg, Kilmoyler, denies murdering the 29 year old after a house party on Church Lane, Golden on October 17, 2012.
The court heard Mr Rossiter died from catastrophic injuries after being shot twice in the chest.
Several witnesses have given evidence of a history between the deceased and the accused but have also stated that Mr Power was looking to resolve this and that both men chatted like friends on the phone the night before Shane Rossiter’s death.
The trial went into legal argument last week.
