Thurles to launch major anti dog fouling/litter campaign

Tipperary County Council will be launching a major anti dog fouling campaign in Thurles very shortly.

It will involve extra litter wardens patrolling dog fouling hot spots in Thurles in the mornings before 9am and the afternoons after 6pm as these are the times that most people walk their dogs.

Fines will be issued to any owners of dogs who do not clean up after their dog fouls in public areas of the town. Dog fouling is a major problem and needs to be tackled and this is one measure that will hopefully help this situation
