he death has occurred of Mary Bartak (née Walsh)
Cork / Thurles, Tipperary

Bartak (Cork and formerly of Thurles) On July 28th 2021, peacefully at St Joseph’s Bon Secours Care Village, Mount Desert, Mary (nee Walsh), beloved wife of the late Mike, loving mother of Barbara, Tony, Steve, Eva and the late John, and adored grandmother of Jessica, Isabel, Kim, Alec, Ben, Sam and Paige. Sadly missed by her loving family, son-in-law, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, brother, sisters, relatives and friends.

Rest in peace

Due to current government guidelines Mary’s funeral will take place privately. The death has occurred of Alice (Lelia) East (née Walsh)
Ballincar, Rosses Point,  Sligo / Clonmel, Tipperary

Peacefully, in the loving care of the doctors, nurses, carers and staff at Sligo University Hospital. Lelia, predeceased by her husband Kenneth and her granddaughter Vicky O’Hara. Loving mother of Ken, Carol, Lelia and Therese and dear grandmother of Jason, Steffan, Megan and Alex. She will be sadly missed by her son, daughters, grandchildren, sister-in-law Gladys, nieces, nephews, in-laws, relatives and friends.

Reposing at her residence for family only. Funeral cortege will leave her residence on Friday morning at 10:30am to arrive at St. Columba’s Church, Rosses Point, Sligo for Requiem Mass at 11:00am. Funeral will  proceed to Rosses Point Cemetery for burial. Due to current restrictions, Lelia’s funeral will be private for family, relatives and friends only. House strictly private please.

The death has occurred of Kathleen Fogarty (née Drennan)
Clonealy, Drombane,  Tipperary / Knocktopher, Kilkenny

Formerly Gorrue, Knocktopher, Kilkenny. Beloved wife of the late Dan and sister of the late Margaret, Bernie and John who died in infancy. Loving mother of Patrick, Marie, Brid and Michael. Adored by her grandchildren Danny, Michelle, Kate, Sinead, Eoin, Emma and Jack. Sadly missed and deeply loved by her family, grandchildren, sisters Mary and Bridget, brother Michael, sons in law Michael and John, daughters in law Sinead and Michelle, brothers in law, sisters in law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and a wonderful circle of friends.

Reposing at her residence for family and close friends on Thursday evening from 5pm to 8pm. Her remains will arrive at the Church of Jesus Christ Our Saviour Rossmore on Friday morning for Requiem Mass at 11.30am. Burial afterwards in Kilvalure Cemetery, Drombane. Eileen Gleeson, Knockelly, Fethard, Co Tipperary, July 28th 2021. Deeply regretted by her sister Joan, her niece Anne and her partner Jim, her grandnephew Stephen and his partner Catriona, neighbours and friends.

Peacefully at home in the loving care of her family in her 101st year. Predeceased by her husband Con, brothers Fr. Martin, Peter, Batt, John & Ned.

Deeply regretted by her daughter Sr. Patricia, sons Neil, Eamonn, Dan, John & Fr. Pat, daughters in law Kathleen, Margo & Margaret, sisters in law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives and many friends.

Reposing in the family home (E41 V260) this Thursday evening from 4 PM to 8 PM. Removal on Friday morning to St. Brigid’s Church, Clonakenny for Requiem Mass at 12 noon, followed by interment in the adjoining cemetery.

Fethard,  Tipperary

Tony, Newport, Fethard, Co Tipperary, July 27th 2021. Beloved husband of the late Mary (Kenny). He will be sadly missed by his sister Goldie and his daughters Catherine, Margaret, Liz, Lydia and Edwina, his grandchildren Derek, Mary Jane, Ruby and Isobel, his much loved great grandchildren Freyja, Leah and Espen, sons in law Thomas, Michael, Bill and John, relatives, neighbours and large circle of friends.

A Covid compliant reposal will take place at Fethard GAA Park on Friday from 5pm to 8pm. We ask all attending to follow the stewards instructions.

Tony’s Mass is private for family only. It will take place in the Holy Trinity Parish Church, Fethard, on Saturday, July 31st, at 11am. It can be watched online at parishchurch.net. Burial afterwards in Calvary Cemetery.  House private, please.
