The death has occurred of Mary Hughes (née Quirke)
Osbertown Park, Sallins, Kildare / Tipperary Town, Tipperary

  • Mary Hughes
Hughes (nee Quirke) Osbertown Park, Sallins, Co. Kildare and late of Rathkea Mount Bruis, Tipperary Town, Co. Tipperary, August 24th, 2021, Mary. Predeceased by her parents Patrick and Betty and brother Gus. Sadly missed by her heartbroken family, husband Brian, son Stephan, brothers John, Martin and Joe, uncle Tom, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, colleagues in St. James’ Hospital Dublin and the Alzheimers Association, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

 

Rest in Peace

 

Due to Covid 19 restrictions, a family Mass for Mary will take place in Church of the Assumption, Lattin on Sunday, 29th August 2021, at 2pm and burial afterwards in St. Michael’s Cemetery, Tipperary.

The death has occurred of Denis (Dinny) O’BRIEN
Swords, Dublin / Nenagh, Tipperary

O’BRIEN. Denis (Dinny) (Swords, Co. Dublin & formerly of Traverstown, Dolla, Nenagh, Co. Tipperary) – August 27th, 2021 (peacefully) at home surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband of the late Aileen. Sadly missed by his loving children Susan, Pat, Gerry, Carol, Denise and Elaine, sons-in-law, daughter-in-law, his twenty one grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren, sister Tess, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

 

May He Rest In Peace.

 

Due to government advice regarding gatherings, a family funeral will take place on Monday (August 30th) at 11 a.m. in St. Colmcille’s Church, Swords followed by burial in Fingal Cemetery. You can view the Funeral Mass live on church webcam at 11 a.m. through the link below.

The death has occurred of Tim Shanahan
Pearse Lane, Cahir, Tipperary

  • Tim Shanahan
Tim pre-deceased by his father Tom, passed away peacefully after a long illness bravely borne with humour and dignity in the wonderful care of Milford Hospice, Limerick. He will be very sadly missed by his loving wife Loretta, daughter Nicole, mother Pat, brothers Paddy, Paul and Tom, sisters Ann and Lorraine, granddaughters Meadow and Morgan son in law Barry, nephews, nieces, extended family and friends.

 

Tim’s funeral cortége will leave his home on Monday at 12.30pm to arrive at St. Mary’s Church, Cahir followed by a private farewell service at the Island Crematorium, Cork at 4.00 pm which can be viewed on their website. Tim’s Mass will be livestreamed with the link available here shortly. Family flowers only please, donations in Tim’s memory, if desired, to the IMNDA available on the Donate link below.

The death has occurred of Eileen Quirke (née Dore)
25 Davitt Street, Tipperary Town, Tipperary

Quirke Eileen, (nee Dore) (25 Davitt Street, Tipperary and late of Breansha) August 24th 2021, peacefully, in the tender care of St. Anthony’s Nursing Home, Pallasgreen. Predeceased by her husband PJ, sister Pauline, brother Gerald and grandchild Alan. Sadly missed by her loving family, neighbours and friends.

Arriving at St. Michael’s Church, Tipperary, Friday for Requiem Mass at 12 noon, with burial afterwards in St. Michael’s Cemetery, Tipperary. Family flowers only. Please adhere to Government Guidelines re Covid-19.
