The death has occurred of Catherine Bergin (nee Mullins)

Lissanerin, Ballybritt, Roscrea.

Died suddenly at home on February 14th.

Pre-deceased by her parents Jack and Anastasia, brothers John, Joe and Paul, sisters Anastasia and Mary Ellen.

Deeply regretted by her husband Seamus, son Justin, brothers Eamon, Michael and Martin, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, good neighbours and many friends.

Reposing in Tierney’s Funeral Home, Roscrea on Wednesday evening from 5.30pm with removal at 7pm arriving in St. Molua’s Church, Roscomroe at 7.30pm.

Funeral Mass on Thursday at 12 noon followed by burial afterwards in Dungar cemetery.

The death has occurred of Richard Monk

Ballybeg, Ballynonty, Thurles and formerly of West Sussex, England.

February 13th 2022.

Passed away peacefully after a long illness at South Tipperary University Hospital.

Pre deceased by his brother Hugh.

Loved and sadly missed by his wife Maxine, son Daniel, step daughter Nicola, step son Russell, daughter in law Jackie, son in law Graham and extended family and friends.+

A Funeral Service will take place for Richard at Mount Jerome Crematorium, Harold’s Cross, Dublin, on Friday at 2.30pm.

The Funeral may be watched online from the Victorian Chapel at www.mountjerome.ie.

The death has occurred of Helen Fallon (nee Corbett)

Dominic Street, Portumna, Galway and formerly of Ballingarry, Thurles.

Passed from this life on Saturday 12th February after a short illness, borne with dignity and courage, in the wonderful care of Galway Hospice, surrounded by her loving family.

Helen is deeply missed by her adoring husband Gerry, daughters; Geraldine, Edel and Helen, son Martin, adored grandchildren Joe and Rìan. sons in law, Pat Quinn, Adrian Molloy and Enda D’Arcy, nieces, nephews and especially her godson Pat Fallon, brothers, sisters, brothers in law, sisters in law, extended family, relatives, wonderful neighbours and loyal friends.

Helen will repose on Tuesday in Dignity Funeral Home, Portumna Retirement Village, from 5pm to 7pm.

The funeral cortége will leave Helen’s home on Wednesday morning making its way via Patrick Street to arrive at St Brigid’s Church for 10.45am. Mass will be celebrated for the repose of Helen’s soul at 11am. The Mass will be streamed on the following link:

Helen’s funeral will then proceed to Shannon Crematorium for committal service at 2pm.

The death has occurred of John “The Pope” Slattery

Kilnockin, Fethard.

Died on February 13th.

Deeply regretted by his sister Eileen, his niece Geraldine, nieces, nephews, large extended family, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

Reposing in McCarthy’s Funeral Home, Fethard, on Tuesday from 6pm to 8pm.+

Funeral Mass in Holy Trinity Parish Church, Fethard, on Wednesday at 11am followed by burial in Calvary Cemetery. The Mass can be watched online at parishchurch.net

The death hasoccurred of Patsy Myles

Rochestown, Ardfinnan.

12th February 2022, peacefully in the loving care of his family.

Pre-deceased by his loving wife Ann.

Deeply regretted by his daughters Margaret, Breeda, Áine, Marie, Yvonne & Trisha, sisters Mary (Linehan) Birmingham, England, Joan (Somers) Bagnelstown Carlow and Breeda (Moore) Dublin, brothers Tommy and Liam, grandchildren, sons-in-law, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, neighbours, relatives and a large circle of friends.

Reposing at Ardfinnan GAA Club Dressing Rooms (Eircode E91 H049) on Monday from 5pm until 8pm.

Funeral Cortege will leave his residence on Tuesday to arrive at the Holy Family Church, Ardfinnan for 12 noon Mass which may be watched live via Ardfinnan church live stream service www.churchservices.tv/ardfinnan

Burial afterwards in St. Finnian’s Cemetery.

House strictly private wearing of masks essential. Family flowers only donations if desired to Irish Cancer Society.+

The death has occurred of Helen Flynn (nee Fitzgerald)

Cathal Brugha Street and formerly of Camas Road, Cashel.

Reposing at Devitt’s Funeral Home this Wednesday evening from 5.30pm to 7.30pm.

Requiem Mass on Thursday in St. John the Baptist, Cashel at 12noon which can be viewed on https://churchcamlive.ie/cashel-parish-stream/ followed by burial in Cormac’s Cemetery.

Ballintoher, Nenagh.

He will be sadly missed by his loving and cherished wife Liz, his children Frank, Edwina (Hogan), Liz Killeen (Claremorris), John and Edward, Sons in law William and Colum, Daughters in Law Anne and Mary, grandchildren – Susan, Deirdre, Sean, Edwina, Mark, Frank, Alison, Shaun and Saoirse, great-grandchild Miro. His sister Frances Fogarty, brothers in law, sisters in law, nieces & nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.

May his gentle soul rest in peace.

Reposing at Ryans funeral home Nenagh this Monday from 5pm to 7pm.

Remains will arrive at St. Marys of the Rosary Church Nenagh on Tuesday for his Requiem mass at 1pm.

Those who would like to view the mass can do so on nenaghparish.ie Cremation service takes place at the Shannon Crematorium at 3pm and can be viewed on shannoncrematorium.com.+

House Strictly Private – Family Only.
