At a joint meeting of the Cumann Tobar Naomh Padraig and members of Clonmel/ Cahir Borough Council the fund raising table quiz league was launched in the Clonmel Park Hotel by the Mayor Martin Lonergan. The meeting was very supportive of the aims of the fundraising initiative which will support the maintenance of St Patricks Well and the annual St Patrick’s Day parade in Clonmel. The league is run over eight nights commencing in Eldon’s on the 5th November and in different premises on a fortnightly basis afterwards. There are substantial prizes for the winning teams with nightly spot prizes and cost of entry is € 20 a table. We appeal for support and invite organisations, clubs and individuals to enter and enjoy eight great nights.
