HOUSING PART 8 CONSULTATION: 28 DWELLINGS KNOCKANRAWLEY, TIPPERARY TOWN

Part 8 – The development consists of the construction of a new social housing development of 28 dwellings on an unfinished 1.69 hectare development site, where one dwelling already exists, at Knockanrawley, Tipperary town, Co. Tipperary.

Pursuant to the requirements above notice is hereby given that Tipperary County Council proposes to carry out the following development:

28 no. dwellings consisting of 2 no. 4 bedroom 2 storey houses, 10 no. 3 bedroom 2 storey houses, 10 no. 2 bedroom 2 storey houses, 6 no. 2 bedroom single storey houses, attenuation tank, boundary treatments, landscaping, open spaces and alterations to and completion of existing roads, footpaths, underground services, drainage systems and all associated site works.
The development has been the subject of an Appropriate Assessment screening in accordance with Article 6(3) of the EU Habitats Directive (Directive 92/43/EEC) and the Planning and Development Act 2000 as amended. The Appropriate Assessment screening concluded that the proposed development would not be likely to give rise to significant or indeterminate impacts on any Natura 2000 site.
Plans and particulars of the proposed developments together with the Appropriate Assessment Screening report will be available for inspection or purchase at a fee not exceeding the reasonable cost of making a copy at: –

between 9:30 a.m and 4.30 p.m., Monday to Friday from Thursday 4th January 2018 to Friday 2nd February 2018 on all days the Offices of Tipperary County Council are open to the public within this period.

Submissions or observations with respect to the proposed development, dealing with the proper planning and sustainable development of the area in which the development will be situated, may be made in writing to Clare Curley, Director of Services, Housing, Tipperary County Council, Civic Offices, Emmet Street, Clonmel, Co. Tipperary to be received no later than 4.30 pm on Friday 16th February 2018.
