Con Man charged with Thefts

The con man who has been working his way around Tipperary has been charged with theft in Carrig On Suir Court today in connection with the robberies.


The con man, John McDonagh of Ballyporeen appeared in the District court house today and was charged with the thefts in Thurles on my 18th and Cashel on May 21st.

Mr. McDonagh made no comment as he was charged in a case which saw Detective Sergeant James White of Thurles give evidence.

Bail was refused and Mr McDonagh was sent to Limerick prison and is due in front of Cashel District Court next Thursday.
