A man in his 30’s is due in court later this morning charged in relation to a number of thefts which have taken place in Tipperary over the last number of weeks.
Homes of elderly women were targeted as part of the con in which the accused claimed to be from both Irish Water and the Gardai.
The man, 39 year old John McDonagh of Kilcaroon, Ballyporeen was arrested last week and appeared before Carrick District Court charged with two counts of theft.
Mr McDonagh was denied bail and is scheduled to appear before Cashel District Court this morning.
