“I have been approached by residents about the footpaths on both these streets” said Cllr
Black. “They are seeing footpaths being upgraded in other areas and are eager to see their
own pavements improved”.
“These footpaths need to be upgraded as a matter of public safety but also from a public
realm perspective as new footpaths greatly enhance the visual appearance of a
neighbourhood” concluded Cllr. Black.
Tipperary County Council have agreed to assess the condition of these footpaths and
consider upgrades for inclusion in future footpath
