Borrisoleigh Active Social Club

Borrisoleigh Active Social Club and St Cualán’s Social Club are taking a bus to the beach in Lahinch on Wednesday July 17th. Bus will leave the Square Borrisoleigh at 10am. Anyone interested in going please give your name to Lucia Ryan 0863961211 or Eileen Slattery 0879849848 by noon this Thursday July 11th. Cost of bus is €5.

Last Wednesday night a group of our members went to see the play “The Brothers ” performed by Borrisoleigh Drama Group.  It was a great production and well done to all involved.

Borris-Ileigh GAA Club Notes

North Junior ‘A’ Hurling Championship:

Commiserations to our Juniors who were beaten 2-15 to 0-19 in Round 4 of the North Junior ‘A’ Championship after a hard fought game in Toomevara last Friday evening.

We will now play Nenagh Eire Og in Round 5, further fixture details have yet to be decided but all fixtures updates will be posted across all our relevant social accounts.

Tipperary GAA:

Best of luck to Ray McCormack, Kevin Maher and JD Devaney and the rest of the Tipperary U20 Hurling panel who will take on Waterford in the Munster Hurling Semi Final in Semple Stadium this Tuesday the 9th of July at 7pm. Fingers crossed they’ll have a Munster Final to look forward to in few weeks’ time.
