10. Midland Tribune: Tipperary LCDC is seeking applications from their Public for Memberships of their LEADER Evaluation Committees
Tipperary Local Community Development Committee (LCDC) has been awarded the contract to deliver the Rural Development Programme (LEADER) 2014-2020 in Tipperary. It is establishing Independent Evaluation Committees (IEC) to assess and evaluate all project proposals for RDP funding and is now seeking applications from persons interested in being appointed to the IEC’s. IEC membership will be drawn from the following 4 Pillars:
Economic & Enterprise Development & Job Creation – 3 members required 1 with expertise on rural development & agriculture; 1 with expertise on rural tourism; 1 with expertise in community economic/business development
Social Inclusion & Youth – 1 member required 1 with expertise in social inclusion and/or youth affairs
Rural Environment & Renewable Energy – 2 members required 1 with expertise on rural environment; 1 with expertise on renewable energy
Evaluation Expertise – 1 member required 1 with expertise in the evaluation of project applications
