Parkers Restaurant hope to reopen within weeks following fire

The popular Holycross restaurant, Parkers, hopes to reopen within weeks following a fire which has caused a great deal of damage to the premises.

The fire which broke out in the early hours of Sunday morning was believed to have started due to an electrical fault. Speaking to a Tipperary publication, a spokes person for the popular Holycross restaurant staid they hoped their restaurant would be open “within weeks” and thanks the locals for their support.

Parkers subsequently posted the following message to Facebook:

“Sunday was a very sad and heartbroken day for management and staff at Parkers restaurant, however we hope to be back in business within the next two months and will update you on our progress. In the meantime I would like to thank local support and the good wishes received from our loyal clientele.

Please be assured that we will accommodate you in our other restaurants and we can still be contacted on Parkers landline 0504-43944 or Facebook page. My sincere thanks to our wonderful kitchen and front of house employees of Holycross who in spite of this devastating blow have been so supportive and offered every help possible which Is deeply appreciated.”
