Pierse Motors was founded over thirty years ago and due to continued growth has now a vacancy for a parts advisor. The duties of a parts advisor will include: Advising customers on how & what parts may solve a problem with their vehicle. Taking orders from customers both face to face and over the phone. Maintaining an ordered stock room and finding parts from stock. Raising invoices & collecting payment for parts sold. Liaison with other members of staff. The ideal candidate will have a good technical understanding and general knowledge of how motor vehicles work. Good communication and sales skills, highly organised, methodical person with an exceptional eye for detail. Willingness to keep technical knowledge updated in order to provide the most efficient service possible; The ability to work on your own initiative and as part of a team; Strong problem solving skills. A minimum of one years experience in the motor trade ; Strong IT skills with experience of main dealers DMS.
