Today will bring hazy sunny spells and widespread showers, some heavy and prolonged, and turning thundery.
Eastern counties will have fewer showers. Rather warm with highest temperatures 16 to 19 degrees in a moderate South to Southeasterly breeze.

Tonight

Tonight will bring further showers and clear spells. It will be another mild night with lowest temperatures of 10 to 12 degrees in a light to moderate Southerly breeze.

Tomorrow

Tomorrow will be a very showery day countrywide with some thundery downpours likely and the risk of spot flooding. Highest temperatures 16 to 18 degrees.

Outlook

Scattered heavy showers or thunderstorms will die out on Tuesday night and it will become dry countrywide with some mist and shallow fog patches forming. It will be a little cooler than recent nights with lowest temperatures of 7 to 9 degrees in a light West to Southwest breeze.

Apart from a few light coastal showers in the West and Northwest, Wednesday will be a dry day with sunny spells. It will become pleasantly warm with highest temperatures 16 to 20 degrees in a light to moderate Southwesterly breeze.

Thursday will bring more cloudy conditions with some patchy light rain or drizzle, mainly to the West and North. Some spells of hazy sunshine are likely to break through elsewhere and it will become humid and close with temperatures rising to between 18 and 21 degrees

Friday will bring a little patchy rain to places but it will become dry later with sunny spells. After a humid start it will turn a little fresher during the day with afternoon temperatures of 17 to 20 degrees.

At the moment, apart from a little drizzle, next weekend looks like bringing a lot of dry weather with sunshine at times and near normal temperatures for the time of year.
