St Mary’s Clonmel Club Notes – Jan 23rd

2017 Draws.
The South division championship pairings have been made for the forthcoming campaigns. The Intermediate team have been pitted against Kilsheelan in the south semi final. Our Junior B, U21 and Minors teams have also received their group pairings and these can be viewed on our website www.stmarysclonmel@gaa.ie
Juvenile News.
The U6/8/10 groups return in unison this weekend. The times and venues are as follows. U6 at 12-1pm in the Cashel Road complex. U8 at 10-11am in the High School gym hall. U10 at 11-12pm in the Cashel Road complex. Some players will now be moving up an age grade. Parents shall receive notification on their respective times. New players are always welcome.
Dinner Dance.
Our celebratory dinner dance takes place in the Clonmel Park Hotel on Friday 3rd February at 7:30pm. Tickets are €35 and can be purchased in O’Sullivan Insurances or from Brendan Cagney. All-Ireland winning manager Liam Sheedy will be guest of honour and will be presenting the medals to the Minor and U21 players on the night. All tickets ordered can be collected from the GAA Center this Friday night at 8pm. Please note,there will be no tickets available on the door at the hotel.
Tipperary Draw.
The February stage of the Tipperary County Board draw will take place in Moynihans pub on Friday 10th at 9pm. The All-Ireland trophies will make an appearance along with some special guests. All are welcome.
Membership.
With 2017 now in full flow, our membership drive is now underway. Once again, our subscriptions remain unchanged at €50 per family and €40 per single member. Payments can be made to registrar David O Donnell or any committee member.
Sympathies.
The club would like to offer condolences to the Ahearne family on the passing of Liam who recently passed away.
