Intermediate Hurling
After an intense few weeks where we put Cappawhite and St Marys to the sword in the quarter finals the curtain came down on our busy season on Saturday 15th in Dundrum as we fell to a second half rally from Thurles Sarsfields. In a game where we led through much of the opening half we started the second half brightly when Darragh Kennedy finished a fantastic team move to the net. Thurles were relentless however and emptied the bench as they continued to exert pressure, we fought to the end however and were seeking the equalising goal when the final whistle blew at which point the scoreline read 0-17 to 1-11 in favour of the Thurles men. Our thanks to team and management on what was a successful season capped by the winning of our first west final since 2003.

Junior Football
Commiserations to our junior football team who suffered defeat to Loughmore Castleiney in Clonoulty on Saturday 22nd. We led by the minimum at half time however with injuries having taken their toll on the squad we were unable to withstand the second half onslaught and fell by a one point margin on a scoreline of 2-08 to 1-10. Well done and tahnks to the team and management for a year where we played exciting football and won the west final again.

U21 Hurling
Our defence of last year’s title starts in the near future. We will play our opening game in the west semi-final at a date to be confirmed.
