Tipp Hurling Poem

Long will they speak about the men of sixteen

The likes of whom never before was seen.

Above in Croke Park, first sunday in September

A hurling display for all to remember.

A brave and gallant exhibition they gave,

The cats were drowned in a blue and gold wave

Fearless and ferocious, the conclusion foregone

Their memory eternal, around slievenamon.
