Lonergan welcomes C&C Announcement

The announcements by C&C should provide a real economic boost to other local businesses.

Local Councillor Martin Lonergan stated “C&C is investing €10 million in a bottling bank at its Annerville plant with up to 60 new jobs being created in the Clonmel area following on from the announcement that the Suir Pharma plant has been bought!”

Lonergan continued “On top of that several new businesses have opened up in Clonmel in recent months including a Dorothy Perkins outlet, a couple of restaurants while Sure Print is moving to a larger new build on the Davis Road.”

Cllr Lonergan concluded “It’s great to see positive news emerging early in 2017 and hopefully we will see further economic expansion in our two towns, Clonmel and Cahir and indeed our rural villages moving forward!”
