Jobs and Weddings saved as Grant Thornton Confirm Sale of Aherlow House Hotel

After much heartache and worry about the future of Aherlow House Hotel, receivers Grant Thornton have confirmed the sale of the iconic Tipperary Hotel. Confirmed this evening, Grant Thornton went on to state that the hotel has been sold to a Dublin based business.

The announcement comes as a the 47 jobs in the area have now been secured which is vital to the locality. The new owner is committed to honouring all future weddings that were booked with the previous tenant company and has confirmed that he will offer couples full credit against their future wedding cost in Aherlow House Hotel for any deposits they lost with the previous operator, Auburn Hotels (Aherlow) Limited

The new owner is expected to immediately begin an investment and refurbishment programme at the property and expects to reopen to guests and patrons on the 3rd March 2016.
