The judging panel assessed top Irish Accountancy Firms in terms of key criteria such as, growth, innovation, quality of service, leadership, customer focus and social responsibility. Drohan Ryan Wynne & Co. being nominated and shortlisted for three awards is a huge achievement as no other firm received more than this and the only two other companies that could equal this performance are international accountancy  firm Grant Thornton and multinational payments provider FEXCO.

JP Wynne, Partner at Drohan Ryan Wynne and Co. said “We are thrilled with this news and recognition of all the hard work put in by my team over the past 7 years. I set up the practice in 2009 working from a home office and since then we have expanded to have two offices, a team of 10 staff and a wide variety of clients and services. We work with clients ranging from convenience stores, construction, farming, jockeys and race horse trainers right down to start up SME’s. We are constantly challenging and developing our business whilst maintaining a high quality service with strong customer focus. In 2015 we developed a new cloud based software designed for SME’s and during that period we also donated over 100 hours to three charities which saved them in the region of €25,000 through fundraising and cost saving measures, these are projects are not only interesting but shows the diversity of experience within the practice, social responsibility with the charity work was a new initiative in 2015 which has been very well received from the charities involved.

Commenting on the announcement, Brian Cleary, CEO of Clonmel and Tipperary Chambers of Commerce said “It is wonderful to see such an achievement by an exciting local firm like Drohan Ryan Wynne & Co. at national level. It is important to note that this firm has relocated to the town centre in the last 12 months, they purchased and renovated Gladstone House bringing new life, jobs and energy to the heart of the town, another praiseworthy point worth commending this innovative and growing practice on”
